Macintosh IIvx
Introduced: October 1992
Terminated: October 1993
Description
The Macintosh IIvx was the last of the Macintosh II line. It ran on a Motorola 68030 processor at speeds of 32MHz. The hard drive sizes ranged from 40-400MB. It had a 1.44MB floppy drive and an optional 2x CD-ROM drive.
The 4MB RAM was expandable to 68MB. The Macintosh IIvx had 3 NuBus slots, a graphics memory of between 512K and 1MB.
History
The last Macintosh II had the first built-in CD-ROM drive of any Macintosh. Unfortunately, the rush to production meant that the 16MHz bus effectively cut the processor speed in half. Even though it performed well, the Macintosh IIvx was discontinued less than a year after its introduction because there were new Macintoshes that performed better and cost less. Those who purchased the Macintosh IIvx at $2,950 were not happy with the computer becoming obsolete so quickly. A long running joke is that people who purchase an expensive Macintosh that becomes obsolete have been “IIvxed”.

Comments
Contrary to popular belief, Replica watches are no fake watches. With the fast expansion of the replica watch industry, there is a significant rise in replica Tag Heuer Watches. There are many people who end up buying fake watches in place of breitling Replica. omega]http://www.watchsuk.co.uk/omega-watches.html”]omega Replica[/url]. So, it is very important to know the difference between the two.
Nice one. Koszalin
